The decision to update or modify your identity is a huge undertaking for any business owner. The choice affects every part of your business as much as it makes a bold statement in your industry. I had the pleasure of redesigning the logo for Viren and Associates, a Financial and Insurance Services Company in Spokane, WA.
The owner Paul Viren, crafts wooden pens as a hobby and often gifts them to clients. I later learned this drove the design of the original logo many years prior.
While the concept worked very well at the time, the Photoshop layered and over stylized original format of the logo did not allow for many reproduction options. The logo especially posed an issue when Viren and Associates wanted a laser cut metal sign for their entry way. The necessity of your logo in a vector format is crucial to allow maximum usage of your logo across all mediums and marketing.
With their recent move from South Jefferson, to The Davenport Tower Hotel in the Penthouse, it seemed like perfect timing to redesign the logo in a clean vector format that will allow total flexibility and serve for many years.
